MathXL Player | This plugin is specific to Course Compass and allows the homework problems to be displayed. It is essential that you install this plugin. You will not be able to complete the homework without it. You will see only a blank screen if the plugin is not installed. You may have to choose the text book specific to the player. If that is necessary, from the Drop Down Menu choose the Jay Lehman, Intermediate Algebra, 3rd. edition. |
Also, if you have AOL as a browser, you may need to download either Netscape
or Explorer and use either of these to access the site. There is also a link
on my website to download the plugins....click here on the MyMathLab
Installation Wizard icon to start the download. You may need to
choose the correct book from the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of books
until you see the Intermediate Algebra, 4th edition by Lehman.
Step 4: My website offers links to important information about the course. I
suggest that you visit the pages associated within the Math 125 class so that
you become fully informed about the requirements and expectations for the course.
Step 5: After you have completed the orientation, post a brief note on the discussion
board about yourself.

I will respond to e-mail within 2 business days M-F. I will NOT respond to e-mail
that does not have Math 125 in the subject line of the email. If you do not
hear from me within that time frame, you should assume that I have not received
your message and resend it.
if you are having trouble with Course Compass and click on the "Support"
Tab at the top of the screen and scroll to the bottom of the screen for the
number to tech support. I advise you to call immediately and not send an email
regarding the trouble. Since this is the beginning of the semester, they will
respond to phone inquiries quicker than email requests.
